Steam & Moorland Garden Centre managing director Charles Hopkinson, with their display of Bulldog Tools.

Steam & Moorland garden centre has been stocking Bulldog tools since the beginning of the year and managing director, Charles Hopkinson is very happy with the range.

He says, “We pride ourselves on the advise and quality of product that we provide to our customers and Bulldog Tools definitely tick the right boxes. The tools are British made and incredibly strong and whilst we’ve seen a decline in the standards of other brands, Bulldog have not let us down.”

He continues “During June we played host to the World’s Largest Spade (built by Bulldog, above) which filled a large part of our entrance area and drew a lot of attention from visitors.”

“Through 2011, sales have increased with Bulldog leading the way in the garden tools department with Premier, Evergreen and Pedigree ranges all doing well both instore and on the company’s website.”

Recommended Tools
For late summer and autumn, Charles recommends the Bulldog extendible loppers and pruning secateurs and moving on through the winter; the Premier digging spade and fork for those tougher digging tasks.
