We began last year with Terry Porter carefully tending our seeds and seedlings. He’s done a fantastic job and his greenhouse is now chock-a-block with cabbages and kale, leeks and onions.

The recent warm weather has been helpful, but, as Terry explains, it can create difficulties. To prevent the plants from wilting he’s build a shade tunnel at one end of the greenhouse. This provides protection not only from the sun, but pests as well.

The plants will be finished off out in the open air, and then, in the week prior to Chelsea, Terry will come to oversee the planting at the show himself.
